  • Queensland Department of Natural Resources, Mines and Water (NRM&W) - Previously known as DNR (Department of Natural Resources)and more recently as Department of Natural Resources and Mines(NR&M); "Water" was added in early February, 2006 recognising the significance of this resource. NRM&W maintains a valuable database of bore information and groundwater measurements, and supports a monitoring bore network.

  • Geological Survey of Queensland - GSQ is a section of Queensland Department of Natural Resources,Mines & Water (NRM&W)and has done local and regional mapping in the area. These geology maps are now available in a digital format, and are used in Lockyer Water Web.
  • Queensland Department of Primary Industries & Fisheries (DPI&F) - the DPI&F has a regional office in Gatton which specialises in local area crop types and water use, and maintains local rainfall and climate data. In particular we thank Dr Steve Harper.
