- CSIRO: Land and Water - [http://www.clw.csiro.au/research/] - This is the section of the Australian CSIRO that deals with research into surface water and groundwaters. This site provides a national perspective and many useful examples of studies.
- USGS - Ground Water Information - [http://water.usgs.gov/ogw/] - This is a very informative site of the US Geological Survey which has over the years developed a world class skills in all aspects of groundwater studies. There is a lot on information in here and lots of links.
Lockyer & SE Queensland catchments
- WESROC - [http://www.wesroc.qld.gov.au/] - an organisation set up in 1991 that represents local governments in the western sector of SE Queensland. It covers 10,000 km2 and has six member councils. This site sets the scene for the region from a local government persceptive.
- NRM SEQ Western Region - [http://www.nrmseq.com/about.html] - a regional organisation to provide sustainable natural resources and environmental management within the southeastern region of Queensland; linked to WCG and SEQC.
